Our Community Involvement reflects the roots of where we came from. Alderson began with four plastic tables and a beat-up filing cabinet. It took many folks and lots of hard work to get us to the place we are today. We give back by building upon the lives around us.

2020
Emergency Health Supplies

Our Community Involvement initiative helped us see the great need for hand sanitizer. Alderson Commercial Group was able to donate 38 gallons and 100 bottles to Community Health Network. These will be used throughout the state at several locations around Indiana. We’re so thankful for all healthcare workers!

The Giving Gig

We’ve had the honor of partnering with The Community Health Network Foundation. For the last seven years, Alderson has supported this wonderful cause. The Giving Gig has quickly grown to be one of Indianapolis’ top fundraising events. Annually it unites over 1,000 donors. These donors care about Community Health Network’s patients and their families.

Johnson County Community Foundation

The Johnson County Community Foundation strives to be the philanthropic leader in improving the Johnson County community. Today and in the future, the foundation works to connect people who care with causes that matter. Alderson Commercial Group is partnering to build the community endowment. Additionally, we assist with needs through grant-making. This includes scholarships and providing leadership on key community issues.

2019
Empowering Youth, Fighting Cancer

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year program fosters entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management skills in high school students. These very students compete to raise funds for LLS.

We decided we had to had to get involved. Alderson’s Community Involvement initiative values students and the contributions towards ending cancer. Raising over $700,000 with this team was exciting!

2016

1.5M to serve cancer patients

Community Health Network Foundation received a $1.5 million cash donation from Tony Alderson. The donation supports their innovative integrative oncology program. This program offers holistic services proven to decrease pain, anxiety, and depression for cancer patients.  Innovative services like art therapy, yoga, tai chi, massage, and more help reduce pain for cancer patients. Alderson’s donation will be used to develop a comprehensive plan to implement and grow the integrative oncology program. The program will be implemented across all six of Community’s Central Indiana regions.
